IMPORTANT UPDATES

Thanks to our very loyal sponsor Photosmart, we have scheduled two dates where the team will be here at PNC to take your team photos. This year the team are trying something new, to be able to prepare for the types of photos clubs want.

Saturday 20th July will be the poster style team photos (green screen)

Championship Round 2 - Saturday 15th June
futureFERNS Year 1 - Year 4 Round 5 - Saturday 15th June
PhotoSmart (upstairs conference room) - Saturday 15th June will be traditional style team photos and first in first served, no bookings required.

General Reminders:

ANYONE can request a duty umpire to a game. If an umpire appears to be struggling, if a coach isn’t happy with how the game is being officiated, if the sideline is displaying unacceptable behavior please come and get a duty Umpire/PNC committee member. We cannot do anything about it, if we are told after the game.
BENCHSIDE, for teams playing outdoors: is facing the Pulman arena. All teams MUST be on the bench side of the court for the duration of the match.
NO SPECTATORS on the baseline (goal line). This is not only for your safety, but the safety of the umpires.

Pulman Arena - Indoor Court Rules

REMINDER! This Saturday, we will be enforcing our usual NO SPECTATORS ALLOWED ON COURT rule. This is going to be supported by the Arena Staff, Committee members on duty and our security guards.

All clubs are asked to please remind your parents, spectators and supporters know that they must watch from upstairs.

Prams and Wheelchair access will be managed by the Duty Managers of the Pulman Arena, they will direct Prams and Wheelchairs to the nearest lift.

REP UPDATES

Congratulations to all the players that have been selected to represent PNC for the 2024 season.

Our teams are now into week 4 of our Regional Tournaments.

This weekend our Under 14 Development, under 14A, under 16 and Under 18s will be competing at the North Harbour Rep Tournament.

Coach Development

Clubs that have 5+ coaches wanting to do a CCA1 or 2 workshops can contact Serena directly to have one set up. We delivered our modules in the pre-season, and don’t have any scheduled until Sept. BUT we are more than happy to work with clubs if you can pull together the numbers. please email ndc2@papakuranetball.org.nz
Netball Manurewa are currently promoting CCA1 workshops – coaches are welcome to attend workshops at other netball centers if that better suits them. We all teach the same modules, and getting coaching from other coach developers is a good thing
