TOURNAMENTS

Prep ‘n’ Play – The PNC Way (Preseason Feb-March) - Register here

  • A 6-week competition, designed to prepare our Rangatahi, Umpires and Coaches for the PNC 2025 Winter Netball season.  Netball Clubs and School Team Coaches can also use this tournament to select their Intermediate and College grade teams.
  • Each week there will be Netball Smart Prep ‘N’ Play skills/activities that will be taught to our Rangatahi that could ultimately improve their netball skills and Hauora.
  • Our Rangatahi will also get to showcase their Netball skills to the PNC Representative Team Coaches, who will be watching for talent leading up to the PNC Rep Trials.
  • There are no team sheets, no add and deletes.  Enter the grade you wish to play in and bring along anyone that meets that grade criteria (criteria as per PNC Reg 9 and 9.1).  This creates a great opportunity for clubs to use this short competition to bring along trialists for your club teams, to work on combinations, and to have a space for those who say 'I just want to give it a try' first.

What is the PNC Way? The PNC was initially developed as part of our newly launched Prep n Play competition and has since evolved into a core representation of PNC’s values, shaping everything we plan to deliver this year and beyond.  While it aligns with how we currently operate, it will serve as the foundation for several exciting initiatives, including promoting positive sideline behaviour, enhancing our Representative Program, and guiding our competitions moving forward.  Watch this space!

DEVELOPMENT UPDATES

Rep Updates

2025 Reps Program

Our Netball Development Manager and NetballSmart Activator, Kat Keelan, has been working diligently on preparing the 2025 travel, accommodation, trial, and selection processes. This includes aligning with tournaments, competitions, and programs designed to provide valuable development opportunities for both players and coaches.

Rep Player Registration Form

Rep Trials Dates for 2025 are (U14, U16, U16 Mix & U18 grades):

  • Trial 1: Thursday 27th February
  • Trial 2: Thursday 6th March

We encourage all clubs to ensure that all their players fill in their club registration forms with their email addresses.  This will enable our office to connect directly with players to let them know when trials are, ensuring that all registered members are given the information and opportunity to trial.

Expressions of Interest for PNC Rep Coaches for 2025 – Now open

PNC is now accepting expressions of interest for coaching roles in the U14b, U16b and U16 Mixed teams.  Our U18s coach role has been filled. We're starting early to provide more development opportunities for our members and to better prepare for the season.  By registering interest now, coaches can collaborate with us to create and deliver tailored pre-season and pre-rep trial programs that we are currently working on.

We encourage all clubs to reach out to standout coaches—those nearing completion of their CCA qualifications or showing strong passion and commitment in their coaching—and invite them to fill out the form above.

Expressions of Interest for PNC Rep Selectors – Now open

Papakura Netball Centre is now accepting expressions of interest for selector roles for the upcoming U14, U16, U16 Mixed, and U18 representative trials.

This year’s trials are scheduled for February 27 and March 6, 2025.  We welcome all interested individuals to apply! Those who haven't yet completed a CCA1 Selectors Workshop will be prioritized for training and must complete it before trials begin. If interested, we’ll provide an overview of our selection policies, structures, and trial processes to ensure a fair and consistent experience for all.
