PNC's FIRST ANNUAL QUIZ NIGHT

We’re so excited to invite you to Papakura Netball Centre’s very first Annual Quiz Night! 🎤🧠🍻

This is your night to let your hair down, have a laugh, and connect with fellow netball lovers – whether you’re a player, coach, whānau member, volunteer, umpire or supporter, everyone is welcome.

We’ll have plenty of laughs, spot prizes, raffles, kai and a few surprises along the way.  All funds raised on the night will go directly towards supporting the future of netball in Papakura – helping us grow the game, build better experiences, and support our next generation of players and leaders.

📅 Date: Saturday 26th July 2025

📍 Venue: Papakura Netball Centre Main Hall

🕖 Time: 6.00pm (Doors open at 5.30pm)

🎟️ Tickets: $50 per ticket or $300 per team of 6

You can purchase tickets here at the PNC office during the week (Mon-Fri) from 9am to 3.30pm or on a Wednesday (CMSS Competition) from 3.30pm to 6pm or on a Saturday (Club Competition) from 9am to 2pm.

So, rally your team, bring your A-game (or just come for the vibes), and let’s make our first Quiz Night a night to remember!

Important Reminders:

  • NO PARKING ON THE GRASS AT ALL TIMES! Please let your supporters and members know that they are not allowed to park on the grass areas around the courts. This is on Saturdays and team training nights.

Congratulations to our PNC U14a and U16a teams for competing down in New Plymouth this week in the North Island Junior Netball Championships!

PNC U14a came 12th in the U14A Grade

PNC U16a came 5th in the U16B Grade

Well done to all the girls that played and represented PNC, thank you to our 2 umpires that travelled down and officiated the games, Jasmeet Kaur and Taligi Akeimo also to Bobby-Jo Buchanan for looking after and taking care of our 2 umpires down in New Plymouth.

A big thank you to the coaches and managers of the 2 teams and all the whanau that travelled down and supported the girls and helped out with the teams, you are all amazing!

2025 Reps Program

Our Netball Development Manager and NetballSmart Activator, Kat Keelan, has been working diligently on preparing the 2025 travel, accommodation, trial, and selection processes. This includes aligning with tournaments, competitions, and programs designed to provide valuable development opportunities for both players and coaches.

Rep Training Dates for July:

  • Wednesday 16th July 2025, 7pm-8.30pm (Outdoors)

Rep Regional Tournament Dates for 2025 (U14, U16, U16 Mix & U18 grades): 

  • Sunday 20th July 2025 - Counties Manukau Intercentre Rep Tournament

Umpire Updates

Umpire Development dates for July:

  • Wednesday 26h July 2025, 9am - NZ Theory 2 classes

Instructions to Apply:

1. Need to sign up on the Netball NZ website.

2. Select Search Learning - Netball NZ Catalogue

3. Click on 'Zone Theory Exam 1'

4. Read information and then click on 'Request Now'

Payment details will be sent to applicants after registrations have closed and Umpire Leads have approved their candidates to sit.

Did you know you can hire Papakura Netball Centre for special occasions? Well, you absolutely can! It is a fabulous venue with many other rooms for hire too (see below) We have regular bookings so please make sure to book well in advance. We hope you enjoy the use of our building. 

Other rooms available for hire are:

  • Main hall, plus fully equipped kitchen & bar area
  • Conference room, with kitchen
  • Officials lounge
