We had the pleasure of having Temepara Bailey here offering our youth a unique opportunity to develop skills, game understanding, and confidence under the guidance of one of New Zealand’s most experienced netball leaders. Participants benefited from Temepara’s expert coaching, practical drills, and insights from her elite-level playing experience, all in a fun, supportive, and challenging environment.

Important Updates: 

• 2026 Club Contact Forms due Friday 30th January 2026 - Please complete this form letting us know of your existing Club Committee and or changes that have been made to your club committee.
• Prep and Play 6-week netball tournament - Registrations are open, register your team TODAY!
• 2026 Rep Trialists Registrations are Open - Rep trial dates are: Saturday 28th February and Saturday 7th March 2026 (U14, U16, U16 Mix and U18)
• 2026 Netball Registrations Forms are LIVE! 
  This is your friendly reminder to please ensure that you update your club information in the form before you make it live.
  Links to all club's netball registrations are on our website page.
  There are a couple of ways you can share your registration link once it's ready:

1. Embed it to your club website page.
2. Send your club registration link manually to your registrants.
   
   Send invitations to re-register from Online Registrations - When you do this, each person is sent an email with a link to their registration details. They simply click on the link to open the new season's form with their last known details already prepopulated. All they need to do is update any details then click Submit and they are registered for the new season.
   We encourage all clubs to remind their members to review and update their email addresses regularly. Keeping contact information current ensures they receive important PNC communications about development opportunities, tournaments, competitions, and more.

PREP AND PLAY 2026!

Dates: Wednesday 4th Feb - Wedneday 11th March

This Prep 'N' Play Intermediate & College Pre-Season tournament presents some great opportunities.

• To prepare our Rangatahi, Umpires and Coaches for the PNC 2026 Winter Netball season.
• Netball Clubs and School Team Coaches can also use this tournament to select their Intermediate and College grade teams.
• Each week there will be a series of Netball Smart Prep ‘N’ Play skills that will be taught to our Rangatahi. These are designed to ultimately improve their netball skills and Hauora.
• Our Rangatahi will also get to showcase their Netball skills to the PNC Representative Team Coaches, who will be watching for talent leading up to the PNC Rep Trials. They will also play a major role in the delivery of this Tournament.

We want to make this simple and easy - you don't have to provide the Names and details of your Players or Umpires just yet, we'll come out to you and collect this closer to the Tournament time. Also, there is no requirement for a formal netball uniform :)

Rep Trials Dates for 2026 are (U14, U16, U16 Mix & U18 grades): 

• Trial 1: Saturday 28th February
• Trial 2: Saturday 7th March

We encourage all clubs to ensure that all their players fill in their club registration forms with their email addresses.  This will enable our office to connect directly with players to let them know when trials are, ensuring that all registered members are given the information and opportunity to trial.

Expressions of Interest for PNC Rep Selectors – Now open

Papakura Netball Centre is now accepting expressions of interest for selector roles for the upcoming U14, U16, U16 Mixed, and U18 representative trials.

This year’s trials are scheduled for February 28 and March 7, 2026.  We welcome all interested individuals to apply! Those who haven't yet completed a CCA1 Selectors Workshop will be prioritized for training and must complete it before trials begin. If interested, we’ll provide an overview of our selection policies, structures, and trial processes to ensure a fair and consistent experience for all.

Please remind your members about our rules, we need to look after our courts.

Did you know you can hire Papakura Netball Centre for special occasions? Well, you absolutely can! It is a fabulous venue with many other rooms for hire too (see below) We have regular bookings so please make sure to book well in advance. We hope you enjoy the use of our building.

• Main hall, plus fully equipped kitchen & bar area
• Conference room, with kitchen
• Officials lounge
