Papakura Netball Centre completed an organisational and governance structure review and this was adopted in September 2013. The new Board consists of the 4 x elected (includes President position) 1 appointed and 1 re-elected Board members.

BUSINESS EXPERIENCE
Nearly 30 years in the public sector, leading large teams and managing complex, large-scale budgets and operations. Skilled in strategic leadership, governance, and stakeholder engagement. Currently National Manager, Justice Services Kaiārahi – Ministry of Justice, where I established a national service improving access to Family Court for whānau. Experienced in change management, community engagement, and building collaborative relationships with judiciary, iwi, and service providers.
NETBALL EXPERIENCE
Started playing in primary school, represented Auckland age groups, and played senior Counties representative level. Over 25 years with Manurewa Marlins, featuring in Premier Teams and championship winning teams before retiring from premier level in 2019 and all netball in 2023. President of Marlins since 2018; committee member since 2014. Honoured to manage and coach premier teams and serve PNC for 15+ years as selector and manager for representative squads.
MOTIVATION
Passionate about creating opportunities for youth and representing the collective voice of our netball whānau to strengthen community and governance. Proud to represent the collective voice of our netball whānau at PNC, ensuring decisions reflect the needs of those we serve.
