2026 CMSS COMPETITION AWARDS​​​​​​​

What an incredible 11 weeks of Counties Manukau Secondary Schools netball!

Our 2026 competition continued to grow, with fantastic participation across all grades and plenty of talent, school pride and competitive netball on display each week.

Across the season, the overall behaviour and spirit of the competition was really positive. While there were a few small incidents along the way, these were far outweighed by the great sportsmanship, respect, school spirit and support we saw week after week.

As we celebrate our grade winners and runners up, we also want to recognise every team, player, coach, manager, umpire, volunteer and supporter who helped make the season possible. The support from whānau on the sidelines, the people giving their time behind the scenes and everyone contributing to the game day environment all play such an important part in making this competition what it is.

A very special thank you goes to our school Sports Coordinators. Your commitment to creating opportunities for rangatahi to participate in sport has an impact that reaches far beyond the court. Through school sport, our young people build confidence, leadership, resilience, teamwork and a sense of belonging, while learning how to navigate both success and challenge.

Thank you for continuing to champion sport within your schools and for recognising the important role it plays in the lives and development of our learners.
